White Chicken Crock Pot Chili

Folks who enjoy a change from traditional tomato-based chilies will enjoy this slow cooker chili. The flavorful blend has tender chunks of chicken, white beans and just enough zip.

To further simplify preparation, use precooked frozen chicken to create this easy crock pot white chili recipe.

  • 2 cans Great Northern or Navy beans (rinsed and drained)

  • 1 can (14.5 ounce) diced tomatoes with green chilies (do not drain)

  • 1 can (14 1/2 ounce) chicken broth

  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder

  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin

  • 1 teaspoon red hot pepper sauce (or to taste)

  • 1 box frozen (Tyson) Southwest seasoned cooked chicken breast strips, about 2 cups or may use 2 cups of cooked chicken and 1 tablespoon chili powder

Combine all ingredients in crock pot. Cover and cook on low for 5 to 7 hours. Garnish with sour cream and grated cheddar cheese.  Serve with corn bread or crackers.

Yield: 4 servings
